Very high levels of energy efficiency can only be achieve through having a thermal bridge free construction, super insulation, and low uncontrolled air infiltration. The structural design can have a big impact on all of these factors.

eZED are quite different as we take the building physics into account when we approach the structural design. Thus, we consider what the consequences may be from moisture ingress, interstitial condensation or thermal bridging.

When we prepare the structural details we always add the thermal insulation and airtightness envelope to the design to ensure that it has been properly considered.
