Outdoor Adventure Structures

We engineer structures so people can access and enjoy nature. We have worked on Queenstown’s Ziptrek, providing timber platforms and ziplines fixed directly to the living trees.

This work requires working in conjunction with the operators, and a deep understanding of dynamics, corrosion and timber behaviour to ensure visitor safety and comfort.

The course features 12 treehouses, built from locally sourced Macrocarpa and designed to allow the supporting trees to continue to grow while still providing support for our structures.

The ziplines are anchored to the trees and to the ground, with specifically designed tension to ensure a smooth ride through the attraction.
